John Jacobs has over 15 years of investment banking experience with a focus on capital raising and providing advisory services to European Technology services, software and internet infrastructure companies as well as selected Industrial companies. Mr. Jacobs is a seasoned investment banker and Non-Executive Director with extensive experience across sectors, clients, products and geographies.

Mr. Jacobs has extensive experience in leading complex transactions across all products from origination to closing, including: development/analysis of options, strategy, tactics; conducting negotiations; client management; 3rd party advisor management and experience in market and stakeholder communications. Mr. Jacobs has worked and lived in Europe (London and Frankfurt) since July 1995. He has dual US and UK citizenship and possesses full US and European Union work privileges. He is currently a Non-executive Director for GCRYPT Limited, and was a Non-executive Director of Protx Group Ltd, which was sold to Sage Group plc.

Prior to joining Marks Baughan, Mr. Jacobs was Managing Director in the Global Industrials Group and European Head of Technology Investment Banking for HSBC Bank plc where he was responsible for leading HSBC's coverage of European Technology sector. Mr. Jacobs was previously Managing Director of the Technology Group and Head of Coverage, European IT services, software and internet infrastructure at Credit Suisse First Boston.

Mr. Jacobs received his BA from The University of Michigan, an MA in International Studies from University of Vienna, and his MBA from the Ross School of Business Administration at The University of Michigan.
