Nishu Thukral has extensive experience investing in financial technology companies as well as providing capital raising advisory services to emerging growth companies. Nishu also has deep insight into the broad financial technology sector as well as a deep knowledge and understanding of the payments industry mechanics, participants, issues and trends across geographies.

Prior to joining Marks Baughan, Nishu was with a financial technology focused private equity fund, Susquehanna Growth Equity (SGE), the private equity affiliate of one of the worlds leading options trading hedge funds. Nishu’s experience there includes investing in leading payments, transaction processing and trading technology companies. He has deep network of relationships with venture capital and private equity groups focused on the sector.

Prior to SGE, Nishu worked with Archstone Consulting, a management consulting firm, where he advised technology companies on growth strategies. Prior to that Nishu was Director of strategy at UConnections.com, an e-commerce portal and was responsible for launch of new initiatives and company fund raising.
