Ashwini Gautam has more than 15 years of experience in investment banking and technology consulting. Ashwini joined Marks Baughan in 2023 to lead the firm’s efforts in the supply chain management and data analytics sectors. Prior to joining Marks Baughan, Ashwini was a vice president focused on software investment banking at Nomura Securities, where he led the supply chain management and data analytics practices and successfully advised on M&A and capital-raising transactions. Prior to Nomura, Ashwini was an associate at Bank of America Securities, where he successfully advised industry-leading technology companies. Select clients that Ashwini has advised include Adexa on its sale to Eyelit, Kleinschmidt on its acquisition of FSI, Lextegrity on its sale to Case IQ, Vendor Panel on its sale to Unimarket, Virscidian on its sale to Dotmatics, Schneider Electric on its strategic investment in Uplight; H2O.ai on its private placement; Mu Sigma on its private debt financing; Epicor on its term-loan financing; TeamViewer on its term-loan financing; TuSimple and Samsara on their initial public offerings; Cree on its convert offering; Avalara on its initial public and follow-on offerings; and Chegg on its follow-on offering and convert. Previously, Ashwini worked for nearly a decade as a successful and published supply chain management consultant, and he co-founded both a supply chain management consulting firm and a cleantech startup. Ashwini earned an MS in mechanical engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA from Hass School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
