Bill Takeuchi has more than 20 years of investment-banking, private-equity, and technology-industry experience. At Marks Baughan, Takeuchi has advised on numerous M&A and capital-raising transactions for growth companies in the legal, risk & compliance, and financial-technology sectors. Prior to joining Marks Baughan, Takeuchi was at Lightyear Capital, a private-equity firm based in New York, where he focused on technology, media, and financial-services investments. Previously, Takeuchi was a member of the Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) Technology Group as a vice president based in New York City. Prior to joining CSFB, Takeuchi was with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ), where he was a vice president in the Technology Group. Earlier in his career, Takeuchi worked at GE Equity and at Advent International, where he focused on private-equity investments in the technology, media, and telecom sectors. Takeuchi earned a BS in electrical engineering and computer sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, an MEng from Dartmouth College, and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Bill is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, a Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) designee, a Financial Risk Manager (FRM), and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
